THE ALMOST COMPLETE STORY

I was born in Moldova and grew up in Italy. I studied Graphic Design and Communication in Treviso, then completed a degree in DAMS at the University of Bologna. I later attended the CITEM programme (Cinema, Television and Multimedia Production), but did not complete the degree.

Today I work at Smart Bugs s.s. across its two main brands: Smart Bugs and Farfalle per Eventi. My work combines e-commerce, digital marketing, websites and product communication.

For Smart Bugs, I look after the Italian and German online stores, work on paid campaigns and prepare content and shop materials for product launches (including Butterfly Lab).

For Farfalle per Eventi, I rebuilt the purchase journey. What previously relied on enquiries and manual quotes now has a WooCommerce and CRM-based process, with options for event dates, packages, deposits and balance payments. I also built and maintain Butterflies for Events, the European storefront available in five languages.

Before that, I co-founded Soda Pond, a creative studio in Treviso. I built its WordPress website and worked on branding, commercial videos and project proposals.

From 2017 to 2022, I volunteered with Associazione Culturale Mythos in Bologna as an Executive Producer and Project Manager. I helped produce more than 20 cultural events, coordinated groups of volunteers and artists, rebuilt the association’s website and created posters and other visual materials. Within Mythos, I also created and hosted Logos Light, a series of eight live discussions on YouTube.

I like working across the whole process: understanding what needs to change, building a practical solution and improving it once it’s in use.
